It is possible to create a 3rd generation K5LA horn from Lirr for MSTS which is used on Lirr's DE30AC's like 401,405, and 409 ?

Whenever we find a workable video to record the horn from. The morons on Long Island either have the poorest sound quality ever, or stand right next to a crossing gate (which makes the horn un-usable).

Instead of 270's P5, is it ok if u can find DE30AC 405's unrestricked K5LA, and a little off topic but there is no way 2 get the LINJ route right ?

405 now has an OTR K5LA, which I'm not even sure if it's restricted or not. There's not many videos of that engine leading in general.
About 270's P5, I still can't find a video. However, 159 now has a P5, which I can make a recording of.

As for the LINJ route, you would need to become a LINJ member, and go through the training process and become qualified. Only qualified ENGRs get the route.

Yea 159 would be great, take ur time, also can u explain the traning process for the LINJ route ? And i think i found a decent video of 405.

The training process is basically qualifying (you get our "rulebook", which has physical characteristics and all included), followed by a qualification test. Once that's passed, we then watch you run a train or two over teamviewer, while talking on skype.

I see, is it possible i can do this in the near future ?
